A renewed, better and bigger version of MACEF, HOMI opens its door from 19 to 22 January 2014. The new fair will emulate its predecessor’s fifty year long tradition – welcoming industry-players fascinated by the forms of beauty, taste and style.
HOMI is a name packed with meaning. ‘O’ alludes to the circles that symbolically enclose us as individuals – our personal spaces. ‘MI’ is an homage to Milan. HOMI was conceived as a groundbreaking formula inspired by the rapid evolution of global trends. Lifestyles may change but Italian style endures as lodestar for elegance, for and measure.
HOMI spans the home – where were live and are ourselves – and the store – the place where were make and change our choices and tastes. These are the cardinal factors when navigation through this new trade fair. Lifestyles are increasingly marked by changes, which in-turn has effected the way products are assembled and distributed.
HOMI is an ambassador for these changes. The event will be divided into satellites dedicated to 10 different market areas – living habits, home wellness, fragrances & personal care, fashion 7 jewels, gifts & events, garden & outdoor, kid style, home textiles, hobby & work and concept lab. Different visions will be expressed with space, light, colour, emotion, elegance, originality and craft-inspired wisdom.
