Unseen Photo Fair Amsterdam

Photography Festival Holds its Third Edition

In its third edition and held annually in Amsterdam, Unseen is an international photography fair and festival. Celebrating all forms of photography, the four day event offers a symposium on transitions in contemporary photography, discussions, exhibitions and an extensive programme in a range of galleries within the city (see the schedule in detail here).

An Unseen-initiated project in collaboration with Mulder Montage, Publi-Air, Studio Stomp and the Hogeschool van Amsterdam called Trust the Cloud will be presented. The interactive installation will entice all Unseen visitors to jump on and enjoy the piece during its temporary existence. Anima on Photo, a special exhibition curated by Chihiro Minato (artist, critic, curator and professor at Tama Art University) and Shigeo Goto (professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design and director of G/P gallery) will take place in the Unseen Living Room. An extensive book market will also be on the grounds.

Opening hours are as follows:

Thursday 12.00 - 20.00
Friday 12.00 - 22.00
Saturday 11.00 - 20.00
