Swedish fashion house ACNE has opened their latest location in Paris, though don't expect a typically French design.
‘I absolutely love Paris, but I had to do something Swedish,’ explains Jonny Johansson, ACNE’S creative director. ‘The colour is especially non-Parisian.’
The shop is located in a former car garage, which Johansson converted into ACNE’s second Paris store. Raw industrial influences – like the original walls – contrast natural carpets and bold colour blockings.
‘When I first visited the garage I was really excited about this sexy sweat shop, but I couldn’t help myself – I had to make it Swedish,’ Johannson says.
