Between Spiritual and Material Spaces: The Photographic World of the Gao Brothers will feature the surrealistic, satirical works of the controversial brothers, in a series that explores the link between the individual and their environment.
Bridging the gap between realist and fantastical images of sprawling trees and mirrored layers of city life, critiquing the rapid development in Chinese cities, their work spans photography, oil, installation, sculpture and performance.
Between Spiritual and Material Spaces: The Photographic World of the Gao Brothers from 5 June to 5 September at Hua Gallery in London.
