Taking their inspiration from the work of Dutch photographer Ed van der Elsken, Nederlands Fotomuseum presents a group exhibition on the theme of 'love'.
The show, sub-titled 'Love In and Love Of Pictures', features the work of Dutch photographers, with images that evoke tenderness, lust, longing and intimacy. In this moving collection, the works are as wide ranging in style as in subject: from wedding day photos to holiday shots of long-time couples; from Ed van der Elsken's shots a couple sprawled in the bedroom, and another on a Paris street; to understated images by Martine Stig of wide-eyed couples in the 1990s.
The exhibition also includes photos, films and video installations by Koors Breukel, Paul Kooiker, A.P. Komen & Karen Murphy, Bertien can Manen, Julika Rudelius, Andrea Stultiens and the Useful Photography collective.
From Holland With Love is at the Nederlands Fotomuseum until 9 May.
