Alexandre Herchcovitch Flagship store
The São Paulo flagship store of Brazilian fashion designer Alexandre Herchcovitch was modelled after his own clothing line.
Responsible for the store concept was architecture studio Arkitito, which looked to Herchcovitch’s designs for inspiration.
Expanding trough two levels, the store has a long rectangular plan with a corridor-like feeling. This is enhanced by a gradient shift of colours; the entrance area is covered in black, while colours become lighter and lighter, reaching white at the back of the shop.
This white area has a ceiling two times as high as the entranceway and a glass roof that makes it an even brighter, more illuminated space. Products are displayed in the lateral and central spaces, while custom-made furniture by Arkitito accompanies the fashion.
