Back in issue 90, we talked to three artists whose ‘light work’ makes music come to life on stage. As a bit of a follow up, check out this film from Iregular, the studio responsible for the scenography on the second night of Mutek Mexico in October.

The 15-x-15-grid backdrop was composed of independently controlled RGB lights that were mapped to a video source. A film was simultaneously projected onto the grid’s surface, creating a superimposition of low- and high-resolution graphics.

The live visuals were produced by Baillat Cardell & fils, Diagraf and Iregular.
