As the Frame Awards 2020 submission period has come to a close, we have many thanks to give – 1,070, to be exact. We’ve received over 1,000 projects from an unprecedented 50+ countries: designers and studios from Kuwait, Israel, Chile, Kosovo, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Egypt, Dubai, Lebanon, Macedonia, Malaysia, Russia, Turkey, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Angola, Australia, Mexico, France, Spain, Brazil, Canada, and the United States, United Kingdom and Netherlands, amongst elsewhere, are represented in the Frame Awards community.

Our team is now comprehensively poring over each and every one of the spaces submitted to the 36 individual categories making up the four main - Spatial, Executional, Societal and Honorary. Together, the categories aim to holistically acknowledge the world's best retail, hospitality, residential, institutional, work and show interiors. The resulting longlist is to be announced 21 November 2019. After, we pass the baton to industry leaders who will vote on the projects that will comprise the shortlist; that reveal will take place on 12 December 2019. Both the longlist and shortlist will be a valuable overview of the most inspiring and innovative spatial design today.

Then comes the opportunity to make your opinion count: public voting for the People's Choice awards kicks off after the shortlist is revealed and remains open until February. From 19 – 20 February 2020, our community of designers, makers and users of spaces will come together at Europe's biggest start up ecosystem, B. Amsterdam. During the two-day event, a packed programme of talks, experiential exhibitions and workshops position visitors at the heart of the industry. What's more? The live judging sessions, where nominees will defend their work to the jury, are open to all. You can get your early bird tickets here until 11 December 2019.

Both the People's Choice and jury-decided awards will be presented during our Awards Show on the evening of 20 February 2020. This event includes a grand dinner, prize-giving ceremony and afterparty. It's nothing short of a spatial celebration – get your Frame Awards By Night ticket here.
