Today’s photo essay is a visual feast for the eyes. It’s a small selection of the work of photography duo Adrian Woods and Gidi van Maarseveen.

Both Woods and Van Maarseveen graduated in 2010 from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, the Netherlands. Since then, they have excelled in the field of still life photography. Woods and Van Maarseveen are young, passionate and focused on achieving high quality but tactile images.

In their Amsterdam studio, they turn table tops into miniature magical worlds and document it with their camera. Woods focuses on the lighting and photography, Van Maarseveen is in charge of the set design and together they work towards the final image.
