Japanese design heavyweight Nendo has debuted a set of clustered quartz tables, as part of a collaboration with Caeserstone.

The low tables are formed from varying colours and arranged in overlapping sections. They were featured in the central lounge at the Interior Design Show in Toronto, Canada. The 'floating tables' were the result of a collaboration with Israeli quartz-supplier Caeserstone.

The typically-minimalist style 'explores the boundary between furniture and non-furniture,' says Oki Sato, founder and chief designer at Nendo. The styles and textures of the quartz are arranged to resemble a Japanese rock gardern, he says.
