On the evening of Thursday 3 September at 8:30pm, Frame, Marres and Bureau Europa hold a public event for The Great Indoors Award hosting the distinguished jury as guests of honour at The Great Indoors Talks.

With every click, swipe, scan or turn of a page, we seem to be yearning for newness and now-ness. What does our hunger for visual input and aesthetic gratification tell us about the culture in which we live? Is there something profoundly liberating in celebrating forever now, in discarding legacies of the past and ignoring gloomy projections of the future?

Discussing the topic, The Great Indoors Award jury includes the Victoria and Albert Museum's lead curator of 20th and 21st century design Brendan Cormier, ECAL/Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne director Alexis Georgacopoulos, Vitra co-CEO Nora Fehlbaum, Design Museum London director Deyan Sudjic and i29 interior architects designer and founder Jasper Jansen. The conversation will be moderated by the director of Bureau Europe, Saskia van Stein.
