Tsumori Chisato Shanghai by Igarashi
Traditional Seigaiha wave patterns run across or cut through Tsumori Chisato’s new Shanghai flagship. Following boutiques in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Paris, Taipei, Seoul and Singapore, this latest iteration evokes the Japanese fashion designer’s keen attention to detail – golden crescents, dots and cloud-shaped lighting schemes.
Much like Chisato’s approach to every new women’s wear collection she creates, Igarashi Design Studio began by searching for the right material, form and pattern. In tune with the fashion designer’s rich taste, a spectrum of aurous hues adorn elegant curves as they outline the foyer arch. Visitors enter through a glass mosaic-clad dome before reaching the retail space – strategically covered in open-structure shelving units.
