ADD by Werner Aisslinger

Unveiled at the IMM in Cologne: ADD, a modular system by Werner Aisslinger for Flötotto.

As an expert in Modular Furniture systems, Werner Aisslinger made a contribution to the latest collection of the German manufacturer Flötotto, presented at imm Cologne. The system, called ADD, can build up shelving units and storage spaces in many sizes. And the most innovative elements are hidden.

The joints of ADD are well hidden which means that, once put together, the piece of furniture works as a stand-alone unit. The plastic joint was specially designed for this system. Werner Aisslinger says: ‘ADD literally contains a “hidden hero” since the highly complex joint is integrated into the load-bearing wooden elements in such a way that it remains invisible. This gives the system an elegant, domestic look.’

The ADD system can easily be installed. Doors, front, side and back elements are made of painted MDF and they can be clipped on and off. The user is thus able to adjust the furniture to his or her own desires.
