MILAN – Located on the periphery, remnants from Prada’s previous show provide a foundational backdrop for S/S 2017 collection.

Left clear to accommodate the new set, the central space comprises a linear structure that divides the room. The space – including the catwalk, where lighting within the structure makes the models appear to float in space – is wrapped in metal mesh. Guests are accommodated on tiered seating at a controlled distance from the fashions on parade.

Neon lights help to divide the space and, according to the designers, 'dematerializes all the surfaces, colouring the room, which is reminiscent of a post-human scenario.'
