CMYK Lamp

The lamp is an exploration of how colours are made as reflections of one another.

A lamp by Dutch designer Dennis Parren is an exploration of colour and reflection.

‘My inspiration came from space science; it’s a weightless visual language,’ Parren explains. ‘The lamp is designed in a way that keeps you fascinated about the colorful mystery of light.’

CMYK plays with the mystery of light and colour, while projecting a network of lines in cyan, magenta and yellow that result in white light. Parren says his goal was to demonstrate the advantages of what LED light can be, plus raise awareness about the mystery of white light.
