Dior Catwalk Paris SS14

Dior evoked the exotic for its Paris SS14 show.

Dior evoked the exotic for its Paris SS14 show, creating a luscious floral jungle for its models to strut through. The structure, temporarily resident in the historic gardens of the Musée Rodin, was a greenhouse-like metal frame that appeared to be enveloped inside and out by tropical flora. Toying with our perception of the real and the imagined, plants of wisteria, roses and lianas were intertwined with foliage painted in canary yellow, fuschia pink and chlorophyll green – a suitable environment for Raf Simons’ techno floral prints and petal-like organza skirts.
