Multidisciplinary design studio Fos has created an installation for pop-up shop 'The Hovse'. The installation was placed at the main entrance of the shop in Madrid, aiming to attract visitors looking for a one-of-a-kind gift or product.
The installation satirically criticizing consumerism by depicting a scene where animals flee from mass consumption by running towards the ‘shop small’ store, a reference to George Orwell’s Animal Farm. Three-hundred assorted miniature creatures guide us to different areas that feature crafty and exclusive products.
Design studio Fos comprises Julio Calvo, Susana Piquer and Eleni Karpatsi, a multidisciplinary team which cover the fields of interior design, visual merchandising and art direction. The studio has offices in both Madrid and Barcelona.
