Our Frame Awards platform is a vote against overly prescriptive industry events. With the loaded two-day programme, we strive to give visitors the ability to design an individual experience around their own personal and professional interests. How? With a range of keynote talks, workshops, installations, masterclasses and brand experiences that address four content tracks: retail, hospitality, work and living.
It’s impossible not to question how we’ll live, shop, work and relax in the future, so, at Frame Awards – which takes place on 19 and 20 February at B.Building Amsterdam – we’ll set the stage for you to get closer to the answer. Our team has enlisted the help of influential thought leaders in design – innovators and brands – to do so. The future-curious visionaries that will speak and participate in panel discussions include designer of the new age Marcel Wanders, Ramona Bankar Bannayan of MoMA, D/Dock's Francesco Messori and Ivy Ross of Google, to name a few.
‘The Frame Awards is not just another industry awards, it’s a platform to explore what the future of spatial design will look like,’ says Frame founder Robert Thiemann. ‘We aim to bring industry players as well as the public together under one roof to discuss the topics that affect each of us in our day to day lives.’
B.Building will transform into a true testing ground for spatial innovation and give way to networking opportunities with attending industry stakeholders. Away from the main stage, we’ll also explore new ideas, materials, products and technologies in design via immersive and hands-on experiences. Andreu World, ASB Glassfloor, Bolon, Interstuhl, Studio PMS, Orgatec, HEAD Geneva and USM are among the companies that will exhibit installations, and workshops will spur insightful dialogue.
The programme of Frame Awards 2020 culminates in the night of 20 February, when our Awards Show takes place. Winners will be announced at the celebratory event, which includes a grand dinner, prize-giving ceremony and after party.
