Frankfurt – For the past 66 years, the German Design Council has been demonstrating that the intelligent strategic use of design can drive brand value in valuable ways. To make its point, it has made good use of some very good design, along with some star-making design competitions. One of the world's leading promoters of design, innovation, industry and branding – even beyond German borders – the Council has more than 320 brand-members in its founding circle alone.
Starting in early November, the organization announced that registration had opened for entry into its ein&zwanzig competition. The purpose of the annual competition is to promote international design and design talent by inviting up-and-coming lifestyle and interior student-designers to apply at no cost. This year, the application period continues from early November through 24 January 2020.
