‘This is not a romantic cellar space,’ says architect Michael Anhammer. Instead, stark white brick arches act as a focal points in the otherwise art-less room. Ventilation pipes, which are commonly now exposed at modern restaurants, are here hidden behind walls. Guests can dine at simple tables that add crisp lines to the space. The theatrical curtain wall allows the room to be divided into zones and niches as desired. The lighting fixtures are Moooi's ‘Nomad Mnimal,’ ‘Square Boon’ and ‘Clusterlamp’ styles. Fabrics are by Kenzo and the seating is by Dietiker. Anhammer is a partner at Sue Architeckten alongside Harald Höller and Christian Ambos.
