Love it or hate it, Instagram is an invaluable tool for exposure and connection today. Bearing that in mind, we want to harness its power to introduce our 151,000-person audience – and hopefully new followers, too – to the innovative spaces, studios and designers that have made it to our Frame Awards 2020 shortlist.
That’s why we’re dedicating a nearly two-month-long Instagram takeover to showcase our nominated projects. What’s more, though, is that your digital engagement from 23 December 2019 to mid-Feburary will have an impact in the physical world: we will award the most-interacted-with project an honorary accolade at the Frame Awards show on 20 February 2020.
From next Monday onwards, you’ll get a peek into the retail, hospitality, institutional, work, show and residential spaces that have captured the collective eye of a 40-strong jury of industry players, including Hermès windows and art buying director Natasha Prihnenko, designer of the new age Marcel Wanders and Adidas' vice president of corporate real estate, Christian Dzieia. But, by engaging with the photo – that includes likes, comments, saves and shares – you also sharing your insights with us.
And Instagram isn’t the only platform where you can do so. Public voting is now open until mid-February. An opportunity to cast your vote for the nominees in each of our 36 categories, the results of the process determine the winners of our People’s Choice awards. We set you up to make an informed decision: each nominated project has its own page, which outlines the details behind the space’s concept and execution.
Frame Awards will take place on 19 and 20 February 2020. Then, the entire Frame Awards community – industry stakeholders and enthusiasts alike – will come together at B.Building Amsterdam for a rich programme of talks, exhibitions, workshops, trend briefings, brand experiences, panel discussions and networking opportunities spanning the two days.
