MADE Expo Milan accelerates ideas in architecture and construction

Milan – From 13-16 March, the MADE Expo trade fair will welcome members of the international architecture and construction industries to Milan's Rho Fiera. Quality of life will be the main theme of the event's ninth edition, to which organizers expect to welcome 100,000 visitors from Europe, the Emirates, Russia, America, China and North Africa.

Featuring more than 1,000 exhibitors, MADE Expo is meant to be an accelerator of ideas for revitalizing the sector by serving as a platform for dialogue. Organized into four display halls – MADE Construction and Materials, MADE Claddings, Doors and Windows, MADE Interior and Finishes and MADE Software, Technologies and Services – the fair will also offer a series of MADE expo conferences and workshops dedicated to Safety, Comfort, Sustainability and Innovation.

MADE Expo will welcome 100,000 visitors from around the globe to Rho Fiera, in order to experience the products and services of more than 1,000 exhibitors

To showcase the best of Made in Italy architecture and interior design, organizers invited Elle Decor and the architectural office of Calvi Brambilla to create a show-in-show in 5-7 Hall. In the Elle Décor Design Box, partitions, doors, surfaces, and interior architecture elements will be the protagonists to inspire the design of spaces ranging from private houses to hotels and stores. Here, finishes and surfaces will be zoned into two facing spaces that will allow visitors to interact with materials, as well as a lounge area and high-end café.

At a time when the country's quake-stricken cities, Marche and Abruzzo, are still being rebuilt, the event will also examine seismic activity and industry solutions, including prevention and structural reinforcement. Meanwhile, the Archmarathon Selection in the Hall 1 Outdoor Sun-Sation Area will present a juried international architecture competition.

Throughout the event, thanks to a partnership with the Triennale of Milan, the fair ticket will also allow visitors to enter the XXII Edition of the Triennale of Architecture exhibition at a discounted price.
