For emerging eyewear brand Ace & Tate's flagship in Amsterdam, Occult Studio translates the product into a retail experience. Function articulated with clean lines, the interior's concept expresses the brand's dynamic nature. To accommodate the continuous, seasonal rotation, the shop's walls are outfitted with a peg hole display system, letting mirrors and shelving move easily. Grouped by collection or style, the glasses are momentarily highlighted atop their own minimal shelf.
Once a selection is made, customers can take a seat on wooden furniture to give glasses a test run with an assortment of reading materials. Grey wool fabric surfaces the walls of the examination room, layering a sense of comfort to the showroom's minimal aesthetic, removing any trace of a clinical atmosphere.
