Suppa Shoe Store by DLF PRODUCTDESIGN

Display units of varying heights create a sense of geometric rhythm.

Bike wheels, tar and ample plywood fill a shoe store in Stuttgart, Germany.

Suppa
is the city’s first boutique that specializes in sneakers. The focal point of the space is the bespoke 8m-long display wall, with embedded screws that can be pulled out or moved around as needed.

As new shoes are launched or the shop hosts events, the screws can be adapted as needed to create differing grid-like patterns. Below the display wall, a 'secret' compartment hides special edition sneakers, like a treasure chest than can be opened by staff for customers.

‘The interior concept is minimalist but with a high attention to details,’ says designer Daniele Luciano Ferrazzano. ‘The focus is directed on the essentials: sneakers!’

Meanwhile, a tar walkway allows shoppers to experience what it will feel like to wear shoes in the 'real world.' All lighting has also been designed by Ferrazzano.
