Marc Thorpe collaborated with Hush Studios on a slick interior for sportswear brand Under Armour, marking the retailer’s first store in Shanghai, China.
Located in the new Jing An Kerry Centre in Shanghai, Under Armour is an experiential space with a nightclub-like atmosphere. Upon entering the building, visitors are guided down a stark white tunnel towards a 270-degree panoramic screen. The narrative-style film on show portrays the Under Armour brand, and was designed and directed by Hush. This cinematic space leads to a series of angular retail spaces, the dark tones of which contrast radically with the entry tunnel.
