Occhio Flagship Store Hamburg
In close cooperation with the design luminaire brand Occhio, we recently developed the company's largest flagship store in the heart of downtown Hamburg. With a surface of 600 sqm and distributed over two levels, we designed an interactive brand and product world, which turns light into an experience. The luminaires are seamlessly embedded into a high-quality material surrounding. Applications can be experienced by the visitor within realistic scenes that connect design and functionality in an unique way.
In addition to the exhibition of applications for sophisticated home environments on the first floor, the second floor provides an insight into the lighting equipment of office environments. An absolute highlight is the bar and lounge area, also located on the second floor. Here the visitor is invited to enjoy the warm and atmospheric brand surrounding. On both levels of the store, a strong emphasis is put on the experience of light, demonstrating how space can be modulated by it.
Occhio’s new Flagship store in Hamburg is the largest of its kind - so far. Directly opposite the historic townhall, it marks a prime spot in a highly visible location. The store stretches over two levels (ground level and 1st floor) and covers an area of 600 sqm. Unlike any other brand-store or dealer-showroom in the lighting sector, Occhio Hamburg offers the perfect mix: experience of product display, application, inhabitable spaces, training facilities and hospitality. To name only one highlight, the first floor accommodates a gorgeous bar overlooking the square and ostentatious facade of the historic townhall - the
perfect spot not only to experience but also to talk about lighting and to connect with other lighting enthusiasts. Starting their experience before they even enter the store, customers are welcomed by a large scale video wall which can already be seen from far away, generating attention by displaying the Occhio movie „The Charm“ featuring the actress and dancer Sofia Boutella and well-known bad guy actor Mads Mikkelsen. The overall experience leaves no space for further wishes, interweaving analogue and digital display of the product range, clearly divided by the diverse product families. Every single aspect of interest from the design to the control of the luminaires is handled and integrated with great care and executed with passion just in line with the brand claim „a new culture of light“.
