– CONTRIBUTIONS –

We're always looking for new collaborations with freelance writers in cities worldwide. If you're well-informed about your local design and architecture scene, plus have journalistic experience, feel free to pitch your story idea to frame@frameweb.com. Include a selection of low-resolution images (JPEGs preferred) and a brief project description.

– INTERNSHIPS –

Frame's interns are a valuable part of our team and we ask for a commitment of 36 hours a week in our office in Amsterdam. However, we can be flexible with regards to important study or work dates. All interns are responsible for providing Frame with a valid BSN and will be compensated with an allowance of EUR 450 per month. The preferred internship period is 6 months.

Event Communications Intern
Preferred Start: As soon as possible

We are looking for a bright, hardworking and talented intern to support the organization and production of the Frame Awards and Frame Lab 2019! For more information on these events, visit frameawards.com and check out these videos:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•    Assisting in creating and implementing weekly deliverables for a digital campaign (mailings, copy and images)
•    Managing communications with Frame Awards submitters, nominees and winners
•    Assisting in collecting PR materials (e.g. bios, images, Q&As)
•    Preparing briefing documents for jury, speakers and nominees
•    Communicating with jury members, speakers, exhibitors and other guests
•    Updating and improving the Frame Awards contact database
•    Archive and check materials from submissions
•    Manage Frame’s appearance at international trade fairs to support magazine/books and subscription sales

Requirements:
•    High level of English, written and spoken
•    Preferably a communications or marketing student
•    Up-to-speed with social media, MS Outlook, MS Excel, Mailchimp
•    Well-organized and reliable
•    Enthusiastic and flexible
•    Pro-active and independent

Digital Graphic Design Intern
Preferred Start: As soon as possible

Frame seeks a creative, ambitious, digital graphic design intern to start immediately. The digital graphic design intern will assist with producing animations and environmental graphics; as well as designing websites, exhibition materials, marketing and other materials related to the Frame identity.

The ideal candidate will:
•    Be creative, self-motivated and enjoy working with others
•    Have experience creating environmental graphics, animations and gifs, and editing short videos
•    Be fluent in current design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
•    Have an interest in architecture, contemporary art and design
•    Communicate fluently in English

Editorial Intern
Preferred Start: 1 September 2018

Are you an interior and object design enthusiast with a passion for writing and storytelling? Frame is looking for someone to support the magazine editorial team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

•    Researching and collecting material for articles, both online and for Frame magazine
•    Writing short articles
•    Attending and contributing to weekly editorial meetings
•    Updating the online database on back issues
•    Compiling our contributors list and sending out PDFs to contributors

Marketing & Communications Intern

We are looking for a bright, hardworking and talented intern to support the marketing of Frame products and services and the production of events, including the Frame Awards and Frame Lab.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•    Writing and sharing marketing and communications materials including social media posts, press releases and newsletters
•    Assist in planning, creating and implementing social media and PR initiatives
•    Implement and maintain marketing campaigns for our titles and events
•    Update, extend and improve our sales and marketing databases
•    Provide general support to the editorial and events teams

•    High level of English, written and spoken
•    Forward thinking and creative
•    Enthusiastic and flexible
•    Pro-active and independent
•    Up to speed with the latest social media channels and Google Analytics
•    Interested in offline and online marketing
